Raffia Weaving Workshops

Working with natural raffia invites participants to to explore ideas, experiment with texture and discover their own creative expression.

The simple rhythm of weaving offers a chance to slow down, step away from every day demands and enjoy making something by hand alongside others

Participants learn practical weaving skills, including a starting coil, simple stitching techniques and managing tension to build shape. They explore colour, texture and pattern, discover how to add new raffia and finish their work. The pace and techniques are tailored to experience level, with space to experiment, build confidence and enjoy the process rather than chase perfection.

Each workshop is tailored to suit your group's interest and experience, creating a space to slow down, connect and create.
