In the workshops, you will have the opportunity to learn and experience various stitches including, wrapped, blanket, mariposa and random stitching techniques. Examples of the different styles of stitches and baskets will be available. All the materials you need for the workshop will be provided on the day, including a centre coil kit, a needle, and a generous supply of natural and beautifully hand-dyed raffia.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll be guided by an experienced instructor who'll assist you every step of the way. Their expertise will ensure you create a unique raffia basket that truly reflects your style. At the end of the workshop, you will take home 50gm of natural raffia and 50gm of hand-dyed coloured raffia and step-by-step instructions so you can continue making your basket at home.
